Our area of research is Pima County and, to a limited degree, other counties in Southern Arizona. If you have questions about our services, please contact our researcher, Bobbi Harmon, at research@azsgs.org.

Please send us:

  • The full name of your subject
  • As much information about places and dates that you know
  • the specific question(s) you wish for us to research.

>There is a non-refundable donation to the society of $20.00 for each surname researched. (This donation includes up to 5 photocopies.) This payment must be received before research can be undertaken.

>Send a self addressed stamped envelope or loose stamps with your research request.

>Allow two months to complete your research.

  • Arizona Cemetery Records (formerly Arizona Death Records)
  • Arizona Daily Star (Tucson) obituaries, 1877 to present (full name and exact date of death required)
  • ASGS Members’ Surname Index, 1994
  • Jewish Graves in Southern Arizona Cemeteries
  • Pima County, Arizona Territorial Marriages, 1871 – 1912 and Marriage Records, Feb 1912 – Dec. 1926
  • Pioneer Names of Pima County, Arizona, 1864-1912 (names in court records)
  • St. Mary’s Hospital Register Index, 1880-1907 and St. Mary’s Hospital Register, 1909 – 1916
  • Territorial Marriages: Navajo County 1895-1912
  • Territorial Marriages: Yuma County 1864-1912
  • Tucson city directories: 1881, 1897-1966
  • Tucson telephone directories (white pages): 1916-1990
