Members are invited to attend our regular membership meetings which feature a program and a mini-class on a wide variety of topics of interest to genealogists. Saturday workshops are also quite popular. To investigate this year’s offerings, check the calendar.

Members are able to sign up for our special events at a reduced price.
The Copper Filings
- The ASGS members-only newsletter is published quarterly, or as needed, to provide timely information on ASGS activities and special interest items.
- The Copper Filings is not circulated or distributed to outside agencies or persons.
- The ASGS encourages its members to submit articles for publication. If you are interested in publishing an article contact our editor.
Didn’t get your copy in the mail? Contact the Registrar to check the address to which you want your copy mailed.

Reduced subscription rate to Forum
Because the ASGS is a member of the Federation of Genealogical Societies our members get a reduced subscription rate to their publication Forum.
Surname Database
Only members can submit surnames they are researching to the surname database. Only members have access to the database and its contents.
Member Forums
AzSGS Member Forums provide an online members-only discussion area for sharing genealogical information, asking questions and keeping up to date on activities.
Email List
AZSTATEGENSOC email list provides a forum for members keep others updated regarding information about ASGS activities and anything else of genealogical interest. Any one can read the list; only current ASGS members can post to the list. The list is archived and can be searched or browsed. If you have any questions contact the mailing list administrator.
Personal Web Page Links on Our Links Page
Members who have their own genealogy related web pages may have a link to their page placed on our links page. Interested members can contact the Webmaster to have their link added.
