Mission Statement
The mission of the Arizona State Genealogical Society, founded in 1965 in Tucson, Arizona, is to help its members acquire knowledge about the resources, techniques and ethical standards needed for researching, documenting, preserving and presenting their family history.
Our regular meetings are held the second Tuesday of the month from October through May. Click here for program information, time, and a map. Visitors are welcome to attend a meeting!
We also offer various educational workshops, seminars, and tours related to genealogy. To learn about these educational opportunities, click here.
If you’re interested in tracing your own family history, perhaps especially after watching the new NBC Series “Who Do You Think You Are?“, please feel free to explore our site, attend a meeting, or pick up some hints from a workshop. We have some great membership benefits for anyone who chooses to join!
Beginners should also check out the Family History Center (FHC) which is located at 500 South Langley Avenue, Tucson, AZ 85710-4834, (520) 298-0905. They offer classes and excellent help.
